[The feed clicks on to (1) disgruntled looking Osakan, who's already wandered off out on Route 29 in the middle of the night...]

[He hasn't gotten very far.]

[He's sopping wet and muddy and he's sitting half-cross-legged at the base of one of the ledges, in a puddle, with a visible scrape mark behind him from apparently skidding down the slope.]

[There's a largeish squirming shape that's taken up residence in his jacket, with a near-constant whining, and in the background up above can be heard a rapid-fire "RAATTATTTTATTT" scolding angrily.]

'Kay. Seriously.

What the HELL is going on?! This ain't Osaka, that wasn't my house, I don't even KNOW that lady, an' the damn book didn't give a single clue what the Hell or how I got here or where on EARTH this is-

[The scolding Rattata up above has moved from scolding to audibly strutting; Heiji scowls.]

.....Oh when this rain clears an' SOMEBODY stops bein' a wuss- [He's glaring sidelong up the hill...]

My... friends are there, as well. As much as I would normally consider myself capable of traveling alone, under the circumstances, it might be better to go in a small group, if you're not adverse to the idea.

'm not too far out of town - wasn't havin' much luck between the weather, Bas, an' the "wildlife".

The wildlife seems as bad as the domesticated life, in my opinion. [there's a muffled 'smooch!!' from her bag that betrays the location of her starter.]

It seems intent on kissing everything within reach. It's fairly disturbing behavior, as far as such things go.

["Smooch!", it declares. Akako responds by pressing her hand harder on top of the bag. Shut up in there.]

Well, we can hope - she? - isn't a fire-type, so at least one'f us can deal with the stupid rats an' maybe make some headway.

An' I'm on my way!

I've been told that if I catch something else, I may not need to use this one anymore, so I may see if the rats are at all preferable. [and honestly? they might be.]

[Akako has fashioned something of an umbrella out of her bag, but it won't last for long, especially not as Smoochum catapults herself out of the bag to skid cheerfully across the muddy ground, and-- try to scale and kiss Heiji. Akako stares at it for a moment, and then ignores it.]
