Of course, anyone who’s gotten to deal with riding – be it horses back home or Pokémon here – would probably recognize the uneven “Oh god I didn’t even know I had those muscles” stagger of someone who has never ridden before, yet has gotten the brilliant idea to go on an extended ride – it’s hard to tell what’s from the five day long trip from Olivine, and what’s from doing so bareback on a giant dog with bony ridges on its back.]

Saaaaaaa….. ‘m never gonna have kids… [It’s a tiny, despairing whimper.]

[At which point he slowly shifts the arm he’d thrown over his face to look over at the camera… and the Jynx who’s holding it…]

Well, there's an HM for it y'get from one of th'gyms if you've got a flyer that can carry you; don't ask me why y'get the badge that lets you use it t'travel an' the HM itself from two different gyms.

That's Johto logic. Y'start t'get used to it after a while.

I've been here over a year, and before that I traveled the Grand Line. I'm not so sure getting used to it is even possible at this point.

I think I might be gettin' desensitized to it or somethin'. I keep tellin' myself that just because it doesn't follow th'logic I'm used to, doesn't mean it doesn't have logic t'the rules it works under. []

Eh, the Grand Line is pretty strange like that. Rather than focusing on the seeming impossibility of ships using tree sap bubbles to sail under the ocean, it's best to just focus on the effects what it does and how to deal with it.
