Before that, when I'd first arrived, she'd shown up here from bein' in th'middle of something that'd happened a good while ago for me; was th'sort of thing where it'd be pretty obvious if she'd vanished - but she hadn't. After she passed out like that, she was ahead'f me - last thing that'd happened there was stuff that hadn't happened for me yet, an' there wasn't anything about me havin' vanished, either, an' she didn't disappear from Johto while she was out, either. It makes me wonder if one of th'basic assumptions we've had isn't wrong - if maybe somehow, endin' up here was less some sort'f cross-universe kidnapping, an'more us somehow existin' on both sides of the line at the same time, an'the comas are this side catchin' up to that side like a stretched rubber band snappin'.
